The story that gave start to the entire "franchise" and became a signature of the Well-Deserved Reward event.

The task was clear: congratulate the players with the 10th anniversary of the idea of World of Tanks.

We wanted to present the new game event in the most interesting and non-trivial way. This is when we decided to do without the actors. This should help to create a connection between the game and its developers with players.

To help the non-actors exist harmoniously in the scenes, we decided to tell the story not with the help of actions and evaluations of characters, but around them. We put them in the environment that will tell the story for them itself.

The chosen filming stylistics helped to solve creative tasks but made the technical side of the matter much more difficult.

Unreal world and camera tricks dictated the size and geometry of props.

For example, to create the effect of moving to the second floor (the shot was edited with CG), we had to raise the decoration 1 meter from the floor to let the camera move up. This video was the first where we used interactive approach to video content filled with references and easter eggs for players, which drew a great response from players, and the video was trending in YouTube for several days and reviewed by the most popular content creators.

The viewers liked the video in this setting, and such videos are created every year by other production teams.
